Qin’s Moon / Legend of Qin Drama Post Part 2

With the soon release of this epic drama (it is scheduled for November 29th so in about three days), Qin’s Moon is releasing a lot of stills and goodies for the anticipating viewers. We wrote about this drama before Here, but this is our second post. Kind of an anticipation post?😛

My friend who watched the anime version strongly recommended it and I am myself also quiet curious to see this story unfold. So far, I am not a fan of the leads (I think they are the leads?). Lu Yi did not impress me in Yun Zhong Ge and Michelle Chen was horrible in Return of the Condor Heroes. Let’s see if Tangren can do a better job than Yu Zheng at making us like an actor/actress. Anecdote. My friend always yelled to me watch “Qin’s Moon!” and I always heard Cheese Moon. So, at the beginning, I thought it was a dessert cooking anime (Cheesecaker or moon cake? :’D ). Anyway, now, I know what it is. ouf.

Tangren tried so many genre, but I think they are best when doing fantasy/period dramas. I am excited too! (although I need to controle myself for now and not watch until end of finals V_V)

I’m a huge fan of “Qin’s Moon”, the animation, and can tell this series is very lightly based on the series. The animation has a total of 7 series and presently is only on the 5th season. I know that if I’m going to have any hope of enjoying this, I will need to see this as it’s own entity and not in relation to my beloved animation. Having hope, am excited, but with a lot of holding back. PS I love Nirvana in Fire and having Wu Lei is exciting.

I would think so too since it is impossible to develop the full complex original story into a way shorter drama. I hope they will be able to put at least half of the plot points in this series and, if it is well done, they may do a sequel. After all, I feel like Qin’s Moon really has a huge fanbase and it would be too bad if they ruin the story.😦❤ for Wu Lei!
